PITCO’s project with K-Electric from April 2018 to March 2019 focused on installing Arial Bundled Conductor (ABC) and reconnecting service drops of existing energy meters to the newly installed ABC in Karachi, Pakistan. The objective was to improve the technical and commercial performance of K-Electric’s distribution network by replacing existing LT lines with more efficient ABC.<\/p>\n

The project included the installation of ABC with OMR, preparing staking sheets, BOQs, selecting contractors, and supervising the construction units as per the drawings. Our team reviewed modifications, monitored construction schedules, ensured proper sagging and tying of ABC, and adhered to special considerations for multiplex conductors. The supervision of LT network operations, day-to-day contractor progress, and preparation of monthly progress reports ensured the project’s successful implementation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
