From October 2018 to October 2019, PITCO provided technical assistance to K-Electric for the installation of Arial Bundled Conductor (ABC) in Karachi, Pakistan. The project involved reconnecting service drops of existing energy meters to the newly installed ABC and removing existing LT lines. This initiative aimed to improve the overall efficiency and reliability of the electricity distribution network in Karachi.<\/p>\n

The project included preparing BOQs for materials to be installed and dismantled, selecting and hiring contractors, and supervising their work according to approved drawings. Our team monitored the construction units, ensured the proper sagging and tying of all-insulated ABC, and adhered to special considerations for multiplex conductors.
