PITCO, working with K-Electric, undertook the project from November 2019 to June 2020 to provide technical assistance in Karachi, Pakistan. The objective was to install Arial Bundled Conductor (ABC) and reconnect service drops of existing energy meters to the newly installed ABC, along with removing existing LT lines. The project aimed to enhance the efficiency and reliability of the electricity distribution system in Karachi.<\/p>\n

The services provided included preparing staking sheets for construction units, planning work schedules, and overseeing the construction as per the unit drawings. Our team recorded modifications, installed OMR works, dismantled LT lines, and ensured the proper sagging and tying of all-insulated ABC. Special considerations were made for multiplex conductors, ensuring proper electrical connections and balancing transformer loads.
