Maple Leaf Power Limited (MLPL)

From July 2015 to March 2017, PITCO served as the Owner’s Engineer for the 40 MW Coal-Fired Power Plant at Maple Leaf Cement Factory in Daud Kheil, Mianwali, Pakistan. The project involved preparing project documents, reviewing designs, and monitoring construction. The scope included the complete power plant, covering boiler package, steam turbine, balance of plant (BOP), electrical, instrumentation and control (I&C), and HVAC systems.

PITCO’s services included finalizing the contractor’s scope of work, assisting in pre-award clarification meetings, contract administration, and reviewing the contractor’s design drawings and documents. PITCO also monitored equipment manufacturing, supervised construction, and conducted commissioning and performance tests. The project aimed to enhance energy efficiency and reliability at the Maple Leaf Cement Factory.
