PITCO has been serving as the Owner’s Engineer for the solar energy design project at Evacuee Trust Property Board in Lahore, Pakistan (November 2022 – December 2023). This project, involves Site Analysis and Solar Assessment; Design and BOQ Based On Pak PWD Schedule of Rates; and preparation of Tender Documents.
PITCO’s services include Site Analysis and Solar Assessment: Facility access, especially rooftop access; Simulation for annual expected generation; PV Module Layout and Orientation of PV Modules (Tilt and Azimuth); Identification PV Plant Interconnection Point; Shading Analysis as Per existing site conditions; Identification of optimal module mounting structure; Identification of potential sites for PV & their measurements. Design and BOQ based on PAK PWD Schedule of Rates: System design including identification and selection of PV Panel Layout for best suitable orientation; Energy (Solar) yield simulation through PVSyst Simulation report; Probabilistic estimates of energy yield at multiple points (P90, P50 etc.) after incorporating uncertainty factors; Single Line Diagram of PV System; Detailed BOQ considering all the expected equipment of solar PV after detailed design; Best available PV module technology; PV support structure type and its integration methodology; specification of AC and DC cables: suitable size and type of inverter string/central: minimum range of protection equipment like Relays. Circuit breakers. Surge protectors etc.; and monitoring and control equipment with compatibility to the inverters. Prepare EPC tender documents containing details of Solar PV Panels; Inverters; Solar Mounting Structure; Cables; Protection Equipment; and Other Ancillary Items.
