Water and Sanitation Services Peshawar (WSSP)

From January 2018 to March 2018, PITCO conducted a feasibility study for implementing an integrated ERP solution for Water and Sanitation Services Peshawar (WSSP) in Islamabad, Pakistan. The project aimed to address the challenges of water and sanitation information collection and usage, enabling WSSP to monitor progress, make informed decisions, and improve resource mobilization through an integrated Management Information System (MIS) and Geographical Information System (GIS).

PITCO’s services included assessing existing human and financial resources, identifying strategic options, and evaluating off-the-shelf ERP solutions. The project scope covered technical requirements for functional areas such as human resource management, financial management, water supply management, wastewater and solid waste management, and more. PITCO prepared several documents, including system requirements specifications, stakeholder analysis, financial analysis of ERP and GIS solutions, and a phase-wise implementation plan. The goal was to enhance departmental business processes, improve decision-making, and provide better customer service through technology integration.
