PITCO, in collaboration with International Resources Group, undertook the distribution system rehabilitation project from January 2014 to September 2015 under the USAID-funded Power Distribution Program. The project aimed to check, test, and rehabilitate the distribution systems at two sub-divisions in LESCO and PESCO, improving the efficiency and reliability of the electricity distribution network. This initiative contributed to increasing revenue by approximately USD 1 million for these utilities.

The services provided included identifying meters for replacement, preparing staking sheets, submitting Meter Change Order documentation, and obtaining necessary approvals. Our team arranged for line clearances, replaced existing meters, installed new service drops, and returned retired meters to PESCO’s store. The activity also involved auditing meter reading routes and monitoring the overall construction and delivery schedules to ensure the project’s successful completion.
