From January 2005 to October 2005, PITCO, in collaboration with Fichtner Associated Consulting Engineers – ACE (PVT) Ltd and WAPDA, conducted a detailed bankable feasibility study for the 175 MW combined cycle power plant in Daharki, Sindh, Pakistan. The project, funded by Fauji Foundation, aimed to evaluate the technical, economic, and financial feasibility of the power plant, including plant configuration, network study, geotechnical investigations, topographic survey, and environmental impact assessment.
PITCO’s services included site condition assessment, investigation of various power plant configurations and gas turbine types, preparation of plant and process descriptions, network analyses, geological investigations, topographical investigations, and environmental impact assessment. Our team also conducted economic and financial evaluations, reviewed draft contracts, and prepared a comprehensive feasibility study report. The feasibility study aimed to ensure the sustainable and efficient development of the Daharki combined cycle power plant.
