From December 2020 to February 2021, PITCO has been serving as the Owner’s Engineer for the 999 KW Grid Connected PV Plant at Metro Cash & Carry in Multan, Pakistan. The project, led by Shams Power (Pvt) Ltd., involves installing and operating the solar PV power plant autonomously under a long-term PPA with the client. The innovative project aims to provide clean power at 5% below the baseline cost of electricity for Metro Cash & Carry.
PITCO’s services include conducting a site survey and feasibility study, interconnection point assessment, and capacity analysis. Our team performs in-depth shadow analysis and yield estimation by simulating various configurations of module layout. PITCO optimize the system layout, select key equipment, conduct structural analysis, and prepare specifications for solar PV modules and inverters. PITCO also assists in bid evaluation, oversees power plant erection, performs pre-commissioning tests, and designs the earthing/grounding scheme. The project will conclude with commissioning the PV plant and integrating it with the existing system.
